Christmas time this year was great...all the kids were home and the grandkids were as happy as ever.. we decided as a family that we would do the "homemade things"for christmas to give to each other.. it is amazing what each one came up with and everyone seemed to enjoy each other.. even though we all are worried about what will happen with the world economics, we showed each other that we love them and appreciate them... it was a wonderful time!!!

Dave loves being a grandpa.. his grandkids make him so happy especially when they come to him and no one else...

This year I got the privilege of making a quilt for my sister... It has been so fun putting it together and picking the colors that I thought she would like... my sister is so special to me and I love her alot and just to make her happy is the highlight of my day...

christmas tradtion is when all the kids line up youngest to oldest for christmas morning!!

update!!!
things around here have been pretty scary. not knowing if the 2 boys will have jobs because of the paper mill laying off so many of the workers..but devin has heard that he is #2 on the list now so that is good,,, I know that it has been hard for him to be at home, but the kids love him and he is a great dad...
david has not been so lucky,,, he got laid off and has not been able to find a job yet, he is #10 on the list and his chances of getting called back is slim.. we pray that something will happen for him soon.
my husband Dave has been worried about his job at the car dealership too.. alot of men has been laid off or just fired.. it is a good thing that Dave is good at what he does, but we still worry about what could happen in the future..
I am spending my time watching grandkids, which I enjoy and sewing alot to fill the hours in the day..I am glad that I am avalible for any of the kids when they need me..
